Welcome Back to Brancaster
We are excited to invite you back to beautiful Brancaster for the 2025 Sharpie European Championship, happening from 11th – 15th August 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with the Sharpie community and experience some excellent sailing along the Norfolk coast.
Pre-Event Practice and Registration:
Get ready for the races with our practice race on Sunday, 10th August. This will allow you to get familiar with the course and conditions. Additionally, registration and boat measurement will take place on Saturday, 9th August, ensuring you’re all set for the big week ahead.
A Family-Focused Event for All Ages:
We’ve designed the 2025 Sharpie Europeans to be a family-friendly event, with activities and entertainment for all ages. Whether you’re competing or supporting, there will be plenty to keep everyone entertained both on and off the water. Tides are high and, in the morning, which gives plenty of time in the afternoon to spend with your family. Stay tuned for details closer to the time!
On-Site Camping – Free of Charge:
Our fully operational campsite is just a 5-minute walk from the sailing club and will be open from Wednesday 6th August to Monday, 18th August 2025. The campsite will provide showers, toilets, a marquee, power, lighting, and free parking for cars and trailers. We encourage everyone to make the most of this free-of-charge facility for the full Brancaster experience!

International Sailors – Boats Available:
For our international sailors who are unable to bring their own boats, we’ll look to make some boats available so that everyone can take part in the competition. Please let us know as soon as possible.
Cost and Early Bird Registration:
Don’t miss out on our early bird registration fee of £200 for 2024. This will increase to £220 for 2025, so be sure to register early to take advantage of the discount.
Sailors and children under 16, can enjoy a full social programme, included in the cost of the entry fee.
